Apertura unveil its new speaker: Enigma mkII

Enigma mkII : « Alike, but so different »!

 

Apertura is proud to present its new flagship floorstanding loudspeaker: Enigma mkII.

Enigma mkII will be presented for the first time in Munich from 18 to 21 may 2017, Room F204 – Atrium 4.

 

 

 

Even if this new version is close to the Enigma, every components has been rethought in order to achieve the best performance ever!

Enigma mkII is now a 2.5way, 3 drive units loadspeaker. These drivers have been widely modified from the previous version, following the same principle we applied on Adamante.

The filter has been completely revised. It is still splited on 2 independent Pcb, and has new high-end capacitors. 

The hybrid load, combining an acoustic line and a bass-reflex, has been completely reconsidered.The tuned frequency is lower and bring an even deeper lower frequency extension.

 The high sensitivity (94dB) remains unchanged, and  allows the use of the most musical electronics, even of modest output power.
